Love is Enough

I can do nothing in silence. I am the type of person who needs music or some sort of  "white noise" in the background to help me focus on my task at hand.  I am also the type of person to have multiple playlists for certain situations.  I have playlists for working out, studying, sleeping, road trips, and a playlist full of Christian music I have named "Walk By Faith."  I find that I retreated to this playlist often in my life; it helps to ground me and to settle my soul when I feel as if life is getting out of control.  I just hit play and let God take control.  I also listen to this playlist when I am studying God's word.  For me, it is a good way for me to feel really connected to God.  And many times, God shows me his sense of humor and wonder by having a song played just at the right moment, or when I am reading His word.  Oh how I enjoy those precious moments when i feel so in-tune with God.

Today, as I was studying His word, I was reminded that God's love is enough.  This was brought on by the song "Let the Waters Rise" by MIKESCHAIR.  In the song, the artitst talks about God's love, and how He is always with us, no matter if we are in the calm of life or in the midst of a storm.  I am reminded that God's love is enough to overcome any obstacle; it is enough to forgive any wrong committed; it is enough to pull us through any and every bad thing in life.  His perfect love for us changes us, making us whole and holy.  We just have to choose to follow Him.  We must follow God when we feel like we are on top of the world; because He placed us there.  We must follow Him when we feel like we are facing a raging sea; because He is our refuge and is the only one who can pull us to safety.  And we must continue to follow Him in the everyday, simply because we are called to do so.
